Christmas Cookie Recipe: Chocolatey Church Windows

Uncategorized No Comments »

When it comes to the holiday season, there are just certain things we can’t live without. Or at least, there are certain things we think we can’t live without. One of those items for me is a family Christmas cookie recipe that has been handed down for at least three generations. It’s called Church Windows.

Now, this nifty little cookie gets its name because it resembles a stained glass “church” window. The chocolate will form the frame and the marshmallows are the colored “glass” inside. Take my word for it, because if you see a plate of these cookies go by, grab one. I’ve never seen anyone sit and study the design, only devour the cookie.

Even though this cookie doesn’t have any decoration on it that resembles Christmas, like a tree or Santa Claus, it is only made near the holidays. Why? I’ll never know, nor will I ever make it during a “non-holiday” time of year! Family tradition says so!

So, what makes this little cookie so great, you ask. First, it is simple to make. The kids can play a large role in making them, however they need supervision since it involves use of the stove. Second, they are very colorful and brighten up any holiday dessert table. Last, they have chocolate in them! What else needs to be said? Without further ado, here is the recipe for Church Windows.

Church Windows

1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips (milk chocolate won’t work, I’ve tried)
1 stick margarine (NOT butter)
½ c walnuts, optional

1 10 oz bag of colored marshmallows
2 c coconut
Wax paper

In a large saucepan, melt the margarine and the chocolate chips over medium heat. Stir often and watch closely so the chocolate does not scorch. When the mixture is completely smooth, set aside to cool slightly, for about five to ten minutes.

While you are waiting, prepare the wax paper. Tear off two sheets that are both approximately 18” in length. Lay on a flat surface. Cover each sheet evenly with 1 cup of the coconut.

When the chocolate mixture is slightly cooled, stir in the walnuts and the marshmallows just until coated. Stirring too long will make the marshmallows melt (and that’s bad!)

Pour half of the mixture on the prepared wax paper lengthwise, in order to form a log. Pour the second half on the second sheet of wax paper. Using the extra coconut on the wax paper, cover the top of the chocolate mixture. The coconut will prevent the wax paper from sticking in the future. Take one side and roll over the mix, and keep rolling to form a log. Shape it so it makes a nice circle. Twist the edges so they are secure and to keep coconut from escaping! Immediately place in the fridge or freezer until they harden, at least 6 hours. When hardened, slice off ½ to 1” thick slices.

Church Windows can be stored in the refrigerator or the freezer one month. Keep in an air-tight container or bag to keep it from drying out.

Beat The Christmas Rush With Personalized Mugs

Christmas No Comments »

You’re hearing the carols and seeing the blinding bright lights everywhere. The air might be chilly, but the festive mood is so palpable that you can’t help but get into the swing of things. Christmas is coming. But before you even think about what presents are in store for you under the tree, have you wrapped yours yet?

Beat the Rush and Save Cash

Christmas is sugar and spice and everything nice. It’s a time for family and friends, eating and drinking, and, yes, giving and receiving. Christmas, however, is also the time for deadlines, meeting quotas, and year-end reports. You’ll find yourself busy, busy, busy. Too busy, in fact, that as a result, you find yourself doing your Christmas shopping at the very last minute.

Well, it’s time to change all that. A half-hearted attempt at giving is simply unacceptable. It ruins the very essence of Christmas. So before you find yourself in a mad rush to buy presents, why not start early? This way, you can take your time and beat the rush. Best of all, you won’t be subjected to the price increases that always seem to occur during the holidays.

Get Up Close and Personal

You know your friends and family best, so it shouldn’t be a problem to shop for Christmas presents that you know they’ll love. But if you’re strapped for time and cash, however, your choices are limited. Still, you have to remember that the best gifts are personal and should come straight from the heart. Consider giving personalized mugs to your family and friends this Christmas.

Personalized mugs are functional. After all, who wouldn’t want to have a nice steaming cup of coffee or tea from personalized mugs? Moreover, as the name suggests, personalized mugs are obviously personalized, showing that you care. Indeed, personalized mugs are proof that you took the time and painstaking effort to be up close and personal – a sentiment that won’t be lost on your family and friends.

If you feel that giving personalized mugs as gifts to your family and friends to be too generic, then why not wrap them up for your boss and colleagues? In a workplace where mugs go missing in the pantry on a regular basis, personalized mugs ensure that everyone has their own – with their names on it to boot.

When in Doubt, Personalize!

Indeed, personalized mugs make safe, yet still functional and intimate gifts this Christmas. The best thing about them is that they’re affordable and can fit anyone’s budget. You also get discounts for bulk orders. It’s a great way to make sure that everyone on your list is taken care of.

If you’re sold on the idea of giving personalized mugs for Christmas, you should start shopping now. You need to allow a few days for customization. You can choose from many designs, as well as provide your own - from names to quotations, animals to cartoons. Gift wrapping and shipping also takes time. By shopping for Christmas presents early, you not only beat the rush, but you’ll know you’re also giving the best.

Avoid Giving Really Bad Christmas Presents

Christmas No Comments »

Let’s face it, the last thing you want to be known as at Christmas time is the bad present giver. There is nothing worse than being sat with your family or friends at Christmas, only to watch the false smiles appear on their faces as you hand over a pair of socks and a box of chocolates for the third year running. If this sounds like you then you may just benefit reading this advice before it is too late.

Bad presents tend to fall into three categories, Thoughtless, Useless and Boring. If you have been unfortunate enough to receive any gift from that list then you should have an idea of an alternative which you would have been much happier with

Turn a thoughtless gift into a thoughtful gift…

One of the obvious signs of a thoughtless gift is the ‘rush’ factor. Regardless of the cost, a gift that looks like it has been bought in a hurry screams a like of thought and preparation. Even the most expensive bottle of champagne would not impress someone who is teetotal.

Taking your time and being organized is the key to making sure your gifts this year are your most thoughtful yet. The internet is perfect for helping you discover some great unique presents. Many websites specialize in producing personalized gifts and do not charge extra for the personalization.

Personalizing a present is a clear indication that you have thought about the recipient. Nowadays the usual thoughtless gifts can become a present to treasure for years to come. If they are fond of a particular tipple you can now personalize a bottle of wine, all you do is type in the message you would like and it is delivered to your door. Even a calendar can become the highlight of Christmas day when the lucky recipient sees their name spelt out in a different image throughout the 12 months.

How to go from Useless to Useful…

Having received my fair share of useless gifts this area is a particular issue of mine. Who really needs a baseball cap with two can holders either side off it with a detachable straw? We can all appreciate a humorous gift, but they don’t always have to be useless. Photo gifts have taken off in a big way and enable you to send an image via email and have it printed on to a range of accessories and household items. Whether it is a cushion for your sofa or a deck chair for the garden, these great gifts take your favorite photograph and turn it into a unique gift that looks good as well as being useful.

There are also some wonderful Christmas themed presents available online that should be essential additions to your preparations for the big day. Personalized Christmas Stockings and Santa Sacks are perfect for making Christmas morning even more special and exciting and they are ideal for keeping all your gifts safe, away from prying eyes.

No more socks, make this Christmas one to remember…

There should be no excuse this year for you to give, or receive for that matter, a boring gift. With the option of both high street and online shopping there has never been more choice for all your Christmas shopping needs. Retailers are gearing up for the festive season earlier each year with more interesting and exciting presents than ever before. To buy a boring gift this year would be inexcusable.

Experience Days are the ultimate in exciting gifts. Jumping out of a plane, speeding round a track in a sports car or tackling wild water rapids are just a handful of the activity days available online. If a friend has had a lifetime ambition of doing a bungee jump, why not treat them to the adrenaline thrill instead of novelty silk tie?

Why not surprise a loved one by naming their own star? A million miles away from a boring gift, you can now register a name of your choice on the intergalactic star database and even find the location of it with a poster of the star’s coordinates. Or take one giant leap in your Christmas shopping habits and purchase a genuine acre of the moon? A loophole in International Law resulted in American Dennis Law claiming ownership of the moon and its surrounding satellites which he then began to sell off acre by acre. Your friend may never actually manage to step foot on their acre but they will still have an official certificate from the Lunar Embassy to prove they are the rightful owners.

Are Toys & Video Games The Right Christmas Gifts For Kids?

Christmas No Comments »

It’s the age of innocence when their eyes a little brighter and their smile are full of possibilities. Their minds are being shaped by everything around them and it’s important to make sure that those surroundings are positive and promote good character traits.

The question is are toys and video games the right Christmas gift for kids? The simple answer - yes.

Creative Development

Children love toys and they love to play video games. Imagination is the greatest gift that we can give our children and toys are essential to their creative development. With so many toys on the market, it’s difficult to choose which are best for our little ones during this holiday season. The best way to know is to ask your child to write a Christmas list. Go over the list and make sure that everything will be a positive learning, or playful, experience for your child. Avoid buying anything with an implication of violence or negative influences, which is sometimes present in current video games.

Promote Healthy Competition and Creativity

On the other hand… Video games can offer a very positive learning experience if selected carefully. They have the ability to promote healthy competition and creativity. If a child fails to achieve the next level in a video game, they are forced to come up with more creative ways to move forward. This creativity can lead to a wonderful imagination in all areas of life. Video games can also promote persistence and shows a child that patience is a key factor in achieving any goal. If a child begins playing a video game and stays with that game until he/she defeats it, this promotes patience, determination and intelligence. The child will learn that, if he/she works hard enough, they can achieve anything. This will carry over into other aspects of life and will be a positive experience. The most important thing is, that now, the child is simply having fun and doesn’t even realize how beneficial a creative mind can be. They don’t realize that they are learning and, to them, they’re just enjoying their toys.

Promote Sharing

Toys and games are terrific Christmas gifts for kids also because they promote sharing while keeping the child entertained and happy. Some toys promote learning, such as math and board games. Others, such as building blocks, promote creativity and the ability to build things on their own. A karaoke unit could help a child overcome shyness while a Barbie doll will allow a child to make up story lines and create fictional events.

Age Recommendations

Before choosing any toys or games as Christmas gifts for kids, make sure to read the age recommendations printed on the box or noted in the description. It’s important that the age recommendations match that of your child for safety reasons. If a toy needs batteries, don’t forget to include them in the box.

Unconditional Love

Keeping in mind that children are very influential, the best gift that we could ever give is unconditional love. Perhaps you can’t wrap it up or even add a fancy red bow, but that just goes to prove that the best things in life really are free.

Merry Christmas!

Alter The Way You Celebrate Christmas By Making Christmas Crafts

Don’t feel that you are talented enough to perform fabulous Christmas crafts? Have you never tried to make a Christmas craft as a gift for someone who you love and admire? Just think how lovely it is to receive a homemade Christmas gift from someone you care about and love. You know you will cherish it always. Wouldn’t someone you love feel the same way if you gave him or her a Christmas Craft gift?
Now you can simply carry out your Christmas craft, even if you didn’t order crafts kits, and experience a new way of celebrating Christmas.
I know that it is very easy to purchase ready-made decorations and Christmas crafts, but it is far more festive and fun to make your own special Christmas crafts. Making homemade Christmas cards and Christmas crafts is a great way to spend quality family time together. There are so many fun ideas for homemade Christmas ornaments to give to relatives, teachers or friends. They can be varied to make a number of different sparkling ornaments for your Christmas tree.

Christmas crafts can be made from a variety of materials. If you like working with wood, you can cut out typical holiday designs, like snowmen, Christmas trees, or Santa figures and then spend some time painting to bring life to your Christmas crafts. If it’s your first time working with wood as a Christmas craft, start out simply- cut out any shape and make a sign for your holiday guests. You can paint little trees or stars, and print out with a cute Christmas greetings sentences like “Hope all your wishes come True”.

The easiest Christmas craft by all odds is the Christmas card. No one will ever get bored with making his or her own hand-made cards, especially if they are provided with rhyming Christmas greetings and poems. Ideas can be many and easy-to-craft too.

You could always make candleholders. Take a small baby food jar. Wash and allow it to completely dry. Then you could cover it with such things as: buttons, squares of tissue paper in different colors, etc. Add a new, great smelling votive candle to the holder and you have an instant, thoughtful and creative gift.

A wonderful idea is to present family members and friends with creatively framed photographs. You can simply go to a craft store and purchase a number of plain wooden frames. These can then be painted and you can involve your children in making the craft by letting them add a number of stickers for the year, glitter, buttons, or other embellishments. What’s wonderful about the framed picture is that the frame will have been decorated by the child whose picture is inside.

Another Christmas craft idea is the Santa hat. You’ll just need red cloth, some fluffy cotton and glue to get this Christmas craft real! Fold the red cloth into a conical shape and stick the edges. Then have a ball of cotton glued at the top and some to border the circular base.
The holiday season is a festive time, and making your own Christmas crafts can really add to the special feeling of that time of year. You don’t have to be a pro to enjoy them, all you need is a bit of the Christmas spirit flowing through your body.

A Perfect Family Christmas Gift

There’s no denying that Christmas time is fast approaching. Aside from Christmas decors, one of the most popular items purchased during this special season include a wide array of Christmas gifts. Being a major attraction for everyone, Christmas gifts are anticipated by everyone especially those by families and family members.

CHOOSING PRESENTS FOR THE FAMILY

Christmas is indeed a very special time for families all over the world. Bringing the joy and excitement of Christmas time into its fullest form are family Christmas gifts and presents. Each and everyone of us would want to give our parents, uncles, aunts, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, husbands, wives a special family present.

Like finding that elusive gift for a girlfriend or a boyfriend, choosing the perfect family Christmas gift can be a strenuous and tedious task. To help you find the perfect gift for your family members, here are some gift ideas and presents that will surely make their Christmas season merrier.

Among the so many family Christmas gift ideas out there, handmade family Christmas presents always top the list. Aside from being unique, various selections of family Christmas presents also reflect the value of the recipient.

Hand-made Christmas gifts may include a special painting of a family, a sculpture that symbolizes family unity, or pieces of clothing that embody familial spirit. Family picture or a picture of a specific family member placed in a special hand-made frame is also an excellent choice.

If you’re on a tight budget and would still want to provide something for your family members, worry no more because family Christmas gifts need not be expensive. All you have to do is to know the interests of each family member and personalized something for them.

Inexpensive family Christmas presents may include customized Christmas cards and home-made cookies, home-cooked meals and delights, a personal shopping spree for them or a day of special service. Remember, when giving gifts, the monetary value of the item of the present counts, it’s the thought behind it that really matters.

But, if you really want to give something concrete for a present, here are some unique family Christmas gifts you can choose from:

1. One-year subscription of the family’s favorite magazine or newspaper. If the whole family is into reading a specific magazine or a newspaper, why not surprise them a year of subscription? Aside from helping your parents out in cutting expenses caused by subscription, this is also a practical idea because all of the family members will benefit from it.

2. A new Bible. If your family is Catholic, a new Bible will definitely be a prized possession. You can buy a newest or latest version in hardbound or if you want to be somehow techy, an audio Bible is perfect for the whole family especially for those members who love to drive.

3. A music CD. If the family loves to listen to a certain artist or inclined to a specific music genre, a music cd will definitely be a hit.

4. Lots of video or DVD. If almost all of the family members are movie buffs, it would be a pleasant surprise for each and every one of them if you buy quality movies in DVD. Aside from being able to share it with everyone, copies of timeless movies can also be an investment in the future.

5. Fun stuff and games for the family. If you’re family is into playing a specific game together for a bonding, then fun stuff and games such as board games, projects, and activities will be appreciated.

A Christmas Story – The First Christmas Lights

Christmas No Comments »

One would think that Christmas lights have been around for as long as Christmas itself.  Can any of you imagine Christmas without lights?  How would the children find their way in the dark, so early on Christmas morning without them?  The history of Christmas lights is intricately tied to the dawn of the modern era, when houses began to be supplied with electricity.

As you are likely aware, Thomas Edison invented the first functioning light bulb back in 1879.  A few years later, in 1882, an associate of his first employed the use of lights on his Christmas tree.  Edward Johnson was the first to electrically light his family Christmas tree in his New York home.  His home was located in one of the first sections of the city to be wired for electricity.

A visiting reporter from Detroit reported the following in “The Detroit Post and Tribune”:  “Last evening I walked over beyond Fifth Avenue and called at the residence of Edward H. Johnson, vice-president of Edison’s electric company. There, at the rear of the beautiful parlors, was a large Christmas tree presenting a most picturesque and uncanny aspect. It was brilliantly lighted with many colored globes about as large as an English walnut and was turning some six times a minute on a little pine box. There were eighty lights in all encased in these dainty glass eggs, and about equally divided between white, red and blue. As the tree turned and the colors alternated, all the lamps going out and being relit at every revolution. The result was a continuous twinkling of dancing colors, red, white, blue, white, red, blue—all evening.”

In 1890, Edison published a promotional brochure which may have been the first mention of commercially available electrically powered Christmas lights.  It stated that “There are few forms of decoration more beautiful and pleasing than miniature incandescent lamps placed among flowers, or interwoven in garlands or festoons; for decorating Christmas trees or conservatories…”

From there, the popularity of Christmas lights exploded.  Before long, every family had them and they became synonymous with the Christmas tree.  It’s hard to imagine Christmas without Christmas lights.  I tip my fuzzy red cap to you, Mr. Edison.  You have given us all a gift we will always cherish!

10 Ways Music Can Help You During The Holidays

Christmas No Comments »

This might be a time of year where you’re looking for, oh, some different ways to soothe, level, motivate, energize yourself and otherwise get on top of your cascading emotions. The EQ Foundation Course© emphasizes the great arts as an adjunct to Emotional Intelligence, though the not-so-great are helpful too. May we suggest?

1. Need to get solidly centered

Like, as the metaphysicians say, when you vision yourself growing a tail and having it grow like an anchor down to the center of the earth kind of centered?

Try anything with a big solid bass, up loud, but make sure the lyrics don’t interfere. The right-brain will dominate and you’ll hear the music first, but your left-brain will still be getting the lyrics. Therefore avoid, for instance, “Oh Elizabeth” with it’s solid beat but sad lyrics.

OUR SUGGESTION: “I Loved ‘Em Everyone,” by T. G. Sheppard

2. Need to deal with something heavy, such as last year your father died on Christmas Eve and here comes the first anniversary

OUR SUGGESTION: Only classical music will work for this and that’s why we call it classical. For such a deep need, to maintain your grip when something’s rocked the foundation of your world, we recommend, Beethoven’s “Eroica”.

“Eroica” means “heroic” and that you will need to be. Beethoven lived through the worst thing that can happen to a person. It’s there, in his music. For you.

3. To get lightly level

OUR SUGGESTION: Nothing will probably ever compare to Pachelbel’s “Canon”. After that we give 5 stars to George Winston, particularly “December.” Good masseuses play these tapes. There are no ups and downs and that may be just what you’re aiming at. :)

4. To rip the heart out of Christmas, like when you want to just sit down in front of the tree and cry at the beauty and the splendor of it all and get it over with and then eat a pint of Haagen Daz and go to sleep.

OUR SUGGESTION: Pavorotti’s Christmas video (www.youtube.com), Panis Angelicus duet with the little boy, especially if you had a little boy who now has whiskers on his cheeks. Or Placido Domingo with the Vienna Boys Choir. Then you can pull out your heart and put it on the table beside you, right there beside the dish of peppermints, and the cinnamon-scented candle, and you’ll know you had Christmas.

5. Want something Christmassy but light

OUR SUGGESTION: Harp music is good for this, like for baking cookies to. It doesn’t pull the emotions. It’s close to the lyre, the instrument the Greek god Orpheus played to soothe the savage beasts, and to win a favor from Hades, the god to whom there is no altar (death), the god with whom there is no bargaining.

Completely upbeat, light and fun is “A Reggae Christmas,” by Various Artists, and yes, my friend, “sensei” does rhyme with “pear tree.” Listen to it on the way in to work. That’s girl’s laughter will carry you through your day. Go here ( http://tinyurl.com/y6sp ) to hear samples. Listen to it on the way in to work. That’s girl’s laughter will carry you through your day. (The Ras Family, “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”) And June Lodge’s “Joy to the World” will bring joy to YOUR world.

6. Need to get some work done, sick of Christmas, got the kids around, underfoot and bored?

GP RECOMMENDATION: (1) “Great Balls of Fire,” Jerry Lee Lewis. How could you possibly be “mindful” with that going on? It’s great fun. It will clear the air. (2) “Don’t Worry Be Happy,” by Marley.

Happy Christmas your ass, I thank God it’s our last.” Ah, the Irish, they would’ve conquered the world were it not for …. No cards and letters, please. Sometimes ya gotta vent. That’s what art is for, catharsis. (P. S. Use your EQ; don’t take “it” out on your partner.)

7. The out-laws are coming, I mean the IN-laws, and you, exhausted, crabby and high on sugar as you are, must clean the house and you aren’t exactly in the MOOD for a Christmas Carol, if you know what I mean

OUR G SUGGESTION: If you haven’t cleaned house with your two preschoolers marching along behind you to a John Philip Sousa march, you haven’t lived. Give the little one a paper hat and get out his toy drum. Ok, now quit laughing and taking pictures and get back to work, you!

OUR PG SUGGESTION: Got older kids you need to get working with you? Call it “the main event,” and put on the Jock Jams, “Let’s Get Ready to Rumble.”

8. Need to be inspired and also to get in touch with the spiritual side of Christmas

OUR SUGGESTION: Handel’s “Messiah, Hallelujah Chorus,” of course. Just the chorus, unless you’re an aficionado and can afford to tire yourself out.

Remember, if you will, that when you hear “The Hallelujah Chorus,” you are to stand up. Do this. Right there at home in your living room. It will do something for you.

9. Now, or any time you’re beginning to feel just slightly resentful of all your “blessings”

OUR SUGGESTION: “Lord, What Did I Ever Do,” by the Oak Ridge Boys is great for attitude adjustment.

10. For the peace that passeth understanding

OUR SUGGESTION: Stille Naq, Noite de Paz, Noche de Paz, Sainte Nuit, Cicha Noc, Glade Jul, Stille Nacht, Po La`i E, or, as many of us know it, Silent Night, the lullaby that’s been translated into every language on earth, composed by the greatest unsung duo in musical history, Mohr (lyrics) and Gruber (melody).

We also recommend “Ave Maria.” Especially the Caccini, arranged by Brinums, sung by Inessa Galante, available here: http://www.dimusic.co.uk/Caccdeb2.ram . For more, see www.susandunn.cc/vivoperlei.htm .

Let them still your heart and bring you peace.

6 Christmas Shopping Tips You Must Know

Christmas No Comments »

There are a variety of opportunities for holiday shoppers, including stores, catalogs and the internet. Below are 6 Christmas Shopping tips that should:

Christmas Shopping Tip #1: Shop Early

If you’re heading out to the mall this year, have your shopping list ready. It’s a good idea to shop early in the season because, if you wait too long, that perfect gift may already be under someone else’s tree.

Christmas Shopping Tip #2: Be Polite

Always remember to be polite. The holidays are extremely busy and store employees are working overtime, so be patient as you wait for assistance.

Christmas Shopping Tip #3: Layaway

If you have a big list, but not quite a budget to match, consider a layaway. Many stores offer a convenient layaway plan, which would allow you to make payments up until Christmas. It saves you from having to charge up credit card bills or spend a lot of pocket money all at once, so consider a layaway if you have a big shopping list.

Christmas Shopping Tip #4: Shop Online

If you do decide to shop on the information superhighway this year, it will save you a lot of time standing in line at the mall. You can literally shop worldwide with the click of a button. Browse photos, compare prices, read customer reviews and see a huge variety of products without having to leave home. Best of all, in some cases, you won’t even have to pay sales tax on internet orders. Some stores offer free shipping, quantity discounts and all kids of other incentives to lure you into their site. In addition, several televised shopping networks have websites in which they offer an easy payment program on select items. This means that you make one payment, using a credit/debit card, and the product ships out to you immediately. The remaining payments are billed to your credit card, until the item is paid in full, for the specified number of months.

Christmas Shopping Tip #5: Place Your Catalog Orders Early

If you’re shopping from a catalog this year, be sure to place the order early. The most popular items sell out first, so get your order placed and on its way as soon as possible. There’s no need to wait for a catalog to arrive in the mail because you can log on to the internet and find many catalog companies online with product photos, descriptions, size charts and special ‘internet only’ sale prices.

Christmas Shopping Tip #6: Buy in Bulk

If you have a lot of people to buy for, and aren’t exactly certain of their taste, consider buying in bulk. You can purchase a nice package of scented candles, divide them up into multiple gifts and present them with a beautiful bow wrapped around the glass jar. These types of gifts are ideal if you have teachers, doctors, co-workers or other special people that you want to wish a Merry Christmas. Another terrific idea is to purchase small Christmas tins and several bags of assorted miniature candies. Divide the candies up into each tin and present them with a beautiful bow on top. These are ideal gifts because they are thoughtful, but also budget conscious. You can purchase a pre-designed tin similar to the one described, but you will get a much better deal if you make your own. As an added bonus, you get to decide which candy to include, which isn’t always the case with pre-packaged gifts.

Happy shopping!
